Christmas Start to Finish

Christmas Anticipation and some great picture moments.
The kids were just watching the snow start to fall and they were just so cute.

CHRISTMAS EVE we spent at the Nana and Papa's house
with dinner, sweets, stories and a lot of wrapping paper.

Parker jumped up and down with excitement over his new train tracks.

Kora's ball popper was a hit even with the older cousins.
CHRISTMAS MORNING

Parker hung up our

Christmas Ornament from

Disney World.

Santa set up a cool track with Parker's Christmas present, Parker was so excited he was speechless for a good 30 seconds. Once he found the train controlers he was lost in play.

Kora gave kisses to her new doll

Kora and her new music table and personalized books.

We had a fantastic Christmas filled with family and that was such a blessing.

Hogle Zoo Lights

We braved the cold (of course it was the coldest night this year) and visit the zoo.
The lights were fantastic and so pretty. We didn't get to see any of the animals but the moving lights were worth it.

Parker loved the Merry-Go-Round even when his hands were so cold. He wanted his gloves off so he could hold on to the pole. (Brrrr....)

Kora looks worse than she was, she refused to put her head in to stay warm.

But I CAN'T Wait!!!!

Sorry Grandma Gray,

Parker couldn't wait until Christmas but he could wait for the perfect time to sneek up stairs and open your present before mom could stop him. Parker just couldn't get the packaging tape off the box so he brought it to mom to help him. Mom caved and let him he loves the dragon.

(She did save Kora's it's only slightly opened)

THANKS!!

Quinntin Told Us Not To Get Sick . . .

. . . and the next day Parker woke up with a barking cough. For the last two weeks my family and I have been dealing with CROUP.
It all started off with us talking about the many times we've been to the hospital this year. Parker began the year with a hospitalization with RSV for two days. Then after diagnosis of pneumonia a ten day bout of antibiotics Kora was born. This one was my turn for the hospital stay.
We had a good few months there with only minor runny noses, bruised muscles and normal stuff. Then I was in instacare for a painful toe injury. Parker one-up'd me by breaking his arm a couple months later. Then Croup. Parker and Kora have been coughing and wheezing and lossing their voices over the last two weeks. Parker was the only one that had to spend one night in the Rapid Treament Unit for his breathing. We are all but recovered now but there is still one month left.
(Maybe Parker and I are ones that should focus on health)

Parker's Packing Skills

Last Friday I was packing the kids stuff to take over to Nana and Papa's house you know, pajamas, blankets, etc. Well I had the diaper bag taken care of and had placed the overflow (pajamas) into Parker's little travel bag on wheels. Usually I let Parker pack one of his toys to take and play with so it didn't surprise me that he began to pack his new train in the bag. I thought was so cute that I just let him finish putting the track and road signs in as well. We arrived at my parents and I was telling my mom how cute Parker was with his packing I opened the bag to pull put one of the train pieces and inside I found another "cute" item Parker had packed without me knowing. I pull out a bowl of Ramen Noodles, fork and all, from the bag. It was his bowl from lunch that had been left on the table, I guess Parker was worried that he wouldn't be fed what he wanted during his visit.

Looking Back

I was looking back through my pictures as a child and couldn't help but see some of the similarities between my daughter and I. These two pictures are Kora at 7 months and me at 8 months. Maybe it's just me but they are quite alike, not exact, she still has some of her dad in her but still alike.

It was just a random thought and an entry I thought was cool.

Here are just a few more comparisons.

I found this picture and just had to include it. (doesn't it break your heart?)

Family Halloween

Every year my mom gets a huge food filled party together with all my aunts, uncles and cousins and this year was just as great as ever. Here are a few pictures of all the gang.

My mother made all the costumes you see here (left to right: Tigger was bought cuz it was adorable, Jessie, Peter Pan, Little Bo Peep, Tinkerbell)

Kora and Chase were getting to know each other. I think Kora moves so much that Chase can't keep up. He loves to just stare at her and wonder. Give them a few more months and these cousins will be unstoppable. (They are only 2 months apart.)

Cool teenage boys holding the cute babies, not something you see every day.

This is a picture of the amazing food we sampled, it's always so good.

Halloween in Neverland

My mom did it again, the cutest costumes ever. We went to Disneyworld and did the Halloween Party so I thought Peter Pan and Tinkerbell would be great costumes. They were so cute. We had to go get their pictures taken.

We are so ready for Halloween!!!

Peek-A-Boo is a Dangerous Game

You have to watch the video
to understand.

Don't worry we caught her before she fell but the video doesn't show that.

The Great Pumpkin Search

We went on an adventure last Tuesday to the Pumpkin Patch. Parker thought it was cool to tromp through the dirt and touch big orange balls.

Then when he got tired he'd jump into wheel barrow and have a ride.

Kora just sat around looking cute. Isn't she adorable?! Quinntin mentioned being terrified of her getting older (something about needing to buy a shotgun).

Growing Up Too Fast

Kora is learning so much, so fast. I keep telling her to stop and be my little baby but she doesn't think that's a good idea. She wants to be able to keep up with and defend herself from her brother. Not that Parker is brutal, he just loves her way too much and give intense loves. She looks like she's having fun huh?!

Kora has mastered the crawl, she is no longer an army crawler. She is a full fledged four appendage crawler. (And she's already too fast for me, aaaahhhh)

Then out of no where she stood up and smiled. Kora is already trying to move thost adorable toes to walk. NOooooo!!!! Not yet!!!

To make it even more of a treat she smiles with those dimples to show us how amazing she knows she is.

Kora found that she can see herself in the oven door!! She was so intrigued with herself I couldn't help but take a "few" pictures.

This one she was practicing standing on the outside of the laundry basket and then out of nowhere she was suddenly inside the basket practicing. The tumble in the proccess didn't even phase her.
