Kora in Action

Kora and I had a little quiet time without big brother to monopolize the camera so here are a few "in action" shots of Kora.
(She may not be terribly exciting but she sure is cute.)

So Proud of Him

My husband is usually the one to roll his eyes when I pull out the camera but this time he was the one to recognize how cute our children are and all without me there.

Here are his photos. . .

If only their cleaning skills were honed already.

They Could be Siblings . . .

Twenty something years ago my cousin Jeremy and I were born 1 month apart and well we were passed off as twins on more than one occassion. Well these two are a little further apart in relation (I think Second Cousins). We found that they look like they could be "Cousin Twins" as well. The matching outfits sure help out. You all know Parker but the cutie on the Left is my cousin Jeremy's daughter Cambrie and on New Year's Eve we partied

(Round of Rock Band any one? Is that what it's called?)

We had good food, some interesting rounds of Apples to Apples and of course a New Year's kiss. Thanks to the Roothoffs for letting us crash their party.

Simple Things of Life

Kora loves the simple things of life, I've found that for the last few months when life has been all about what do the kids want for Christmas that I've had a hard time finding toys for Kora. If you put anything in front of her for any amount of time she looks at you like you're crazy smiles and then comes to play with you leaving the toy in the dust.

So I've come to relish in her imagination. Recently I have found her in a toy box (rubbermaid on it's side), under the table, under her highchair, in our green tunnel and behind the quilt rack. Simply Kora Rae likes her quite places and simple joys.
