Making This House A Home

It's been quite a journey to get from West Valley to Cedar City but we did it. I am about 2/3 of the way through the boxes and we're getting down to the "do we really need this stuff?" boxes.

Here is our new house the day it was officially ours.

Don't look too closely, the house needed a little tender loving care.

Here's the view from our front window, it's the elementary Parker and Kora will attend.

When we bought the house it was blue shag on the floors from the dining table to the bedrooms and pink walls everywhere else. The kitchen had tile that was cracked from foundation settling and lovely Sapphire blue counter tops. Eventhough it was only 7 years old they decorated like it was the mid 80's.
After the new kitchen floor was laid and extended, so we didn't have to eat at the table over carpet. We painted. We painted so much I don't think I'll be able to get Quinntin to touch a paint brush for at least a few years.

Above the kitchen cabinets doing some touch-ups.

The green wall in the family room and kitchen and the computer/scrapbooking room.

We finally got carpet!! The kids spent all night racing and rolling around on the carpet. They were very excited they didn't have to watch out for carpet tacks on the floor or wear shoes in the house.

They were so excited they just had to dance!!!

That's all the pictures I have for now. When I feel like we're finally put together I'll take more pictures and post the finished rooms.
