So "Grown-Up"

We found "Grown Up" Sunday clothes shopping the other day and the kids came straight home and tried on their new duds. When I asked them to stand next to each other for a picture, Parker quickly grabbed Kora's hand and planded a kiss. They also danced handing in hand as only toddlers can do. They we positively adorable!

It Was A Green Day!

We celebrated the Irish in style today. Not with traditional corn beef or leprechauns or even a bit of pinching. We celebrated Green Day! We ate green eggs and green orange juice for breakfast. We ate green cupcakes and green frosting in graham crackers. For lunch we dyed chicken noodle soup green and had green kool-aide. We then finished off the day with green beans, green biscuits and green cauliflower. (plus some other stuff in between to make each one a meal) It was so much fun watching the kids try the green food and then tell me it tasted the same as the "yellow" eggs or the "orange" juice.

The kids ran around telling everyone they met that it was Green Day and showing off their cute green shirts they got this morning. I'm surprised Parker didn't show off his green underware he just happened to find in honor of the day. Kora was even decked out in green hair ribbons, and green fingernail polish.

Under the Sea Birthday Party

On Saturday Kora celebrated her 3rd Birthday with her friends. Kora got to play her favorite pin the Flowers on Ariel and toss the bean bag fish into the baskets.

We had three other girls at our house making sea shell bracelets, "pixie stix" sand art jars, and Sparkly foam fish.

There were games like toss the Bean Bag Fish, Keep the Bubbles "balloons" in the air and even a treasure hunt with real jewlery tresure in a little chest .

We ended the fun with a lovely purple Fish cake and blue ocean juice, with fun umbrellas and straws.

The girls loved that their tongues changed color from the purple frosting.

I can't believe Kora is already 3. She is a ball of fun all day everyday. She is definately one to keep me smiling and she always willing to give loves. Kora loves her Big brother and Little sister and is such good helper around the house. I still can't figure out where she got all her "girly" traits, from her wanting her hair done everyday, with a bow to her obsession with princesses and all things "pretty." We are so lucky to have such a cutie in our home. We love you Kora Rae!

If Quinntin tries to take a nap or just rest on the floor the kids are pulled like magnets to sit on Daddy.

4 Months Already?!

Brynnlee is our little watcher. She is content as a baby can be. She loves just sitting in your lap and taking in all the excitement and entertainment provided by her brother and sister. On the 6th of January she rolled over for the first time and was quite upset about the whole thing. (since she got stuck) Parker and Kora love having their little sister around and are constantly fighting about who gets to try and make her laugh. They have to take turns because if they try at the same time it's a bit overwhelming for Brynn and she looks at them like they are crazy.

Brynn loves to smile and be happy but when it comes to pictures she stares them down!

She is growing so well and kind of a stretch. She's in the 93 percentile for height and only the 30th percentile for weight. Everyday we are amazed and what she learns how to do and what she finds funny. Lately she has fine tuned her spitting and she can make a cute squeak with her lips. We are so glad to have her apart of our family. (I just wish she would slow down on the growing up)

Las Vegas Airplanes and Chocolate

We spent the last weekend in Las Vegas and saw some pretty cool things, and learn some very important things.

#1 Cool Thing

Nellis Air Base hosted an air show that Parker and Quinntin got to go to. They saw all kinds of new and old planes. Parker was a trooper and didn't even get burned.

#2 Cool Thing

The M&M World shop on the strip was 4 floors of everything chocolate and fun toys in the shapes of the M&M Characters. The kids liked the free 10 minute 3D movie as well as the wall of M&M's in every color possible.

#1 Thing We learned

It is possible to swim out side in Vegas in Novemeber but not for very long especially with a 2 month old, a 2 year old and a 4 year old.

#2 Thing We Learned

The strip is not easy to navigate with two strollers and you do get a lot of looks carting around 3 kids in Vegas.

#3 Thing We Learned

It takes twice as long to get around a casino when you are trying to avoid the slots (the kids wanted to "play") and trying to keep an eye on every child.

All in all it was a lot of fun and we are now home freezing!

Happy Halloween

The last two weeks of october were a blast! We got to go up to SLC and visit the witches at Gardener Village. We played and ate and shopped, the kids especially liked the witch hula-hooping and the witches flying in the air. We seriously used up all their energy they even cuddled up to a witch to take a nap.


The night before Halloween the elementary held a carnival where the kids danced, mixed up vials of sweet treats and even tossed a few rats for a prize. We then went home carved and hammered pumpkins, and ate white ghost cookies to finish off the night.

On Halloween night we spent the evening at the Trunk-or-Treat at thte church and eventhough it was really windy we made a killing in candy!



Parker was the only on to actually go trick-or-treating around the block that night. Kora met a fog machine at her second house and came right home.

Thanks to Nana for our adorable costumes, we definately turned heads, especially our little "stinker" in her skunk costume.
