One Month and More

So Brynnlee is a little over one month and we are loving our new little addition. She is so content with life (except when mom eats chocolate). Parker and Kora continue to help out and constantly want her to look at them, and to hold her and to show off for her. Today Parker wanted to hold Brynnlee and once I got them situated he looked at me and said " Mom now take a picture." Here are a few of our fun family pictures of the last month.

Arghh. . . Parker be 4

We had a blast last week with Captain Parker's Birthday party. Parker had been waiting for this party since June. He even got to create a count down the week after Brynnlee was born so he wouldn't drive everyone crazy with "Today my party, Mom?" The day started off with "4" shaped pancakes for Parker and a lots of getting things set up.

We made pirate flags, played toss the cannon ball (hot potato), sail yer boat to the treasure (Pin the tail on the donkey), and Pirate Pirate Captain (Duck Duck Goose),

Nana made an amazing treasure chest cake and we even hunted for treasure around the house.

The kids seemed to be having a good time and Parker even talks about what he wants for his next Pirate Birthday. All in all it was fun to get thing ready and I'm a little glad it's over. :)

Settling In

I had a little fun while our new little angel slept.
(Which when she sleeps it's very hard to wake her.) Here are a couple of my favorites.

The little lip curl is becoming one of my favorite faces.

Brynnlee doesn't like wide open spaces so when she is put on her stomache or back she curls up as best she can and hangs out until someone moves her again. Did I mention she's a very quiet and content baby?

Daddy having some quality time with Brynnlee. On the top, can you find her? She's in pink elephant camo. On the bottom, Quinntin is trying to wake her up so I could feed her. He was singing all the songs with hand movements he could think of.

Nana right before she had to go home.

Uncle Dayne was SO excited to hold her.

Brynnlee Lenesa Reynolds

August 22, 2010
Brynnlee Lenesa Reynolds

Born 11:30 am

8 lbs, 20 inches

After a little coaxing Brynnlee came into this world a day early. We are so excited to have her join our family, the kids couldn't be more proud to have a new sister. Parker actually got upset that he couldn't take her home the first day.

Yea! We have Nana!!

He did help Nana get a party ready for her "birthday" party at home with cupcakes, presents, treats and pictures. The cupcakes say "Welcome home Mom and Brynnlee."

More pictures to come but I need to sleep while I can. Enjoy!

Waiting . . .

There's not much new to post but I feel a little neglectful not posting anything for more than a month I've been just waiting and getting ready for our new little present. Which by the way here is her most recent photo. We had a little scare on the 13th, when she just wasn't moving for about 12 hours. We went in and she's just peachy, I guess she just needed a long nap. The Ultrasound guy was impressed with her position and he got a really good picture (our best so far) of her face.

Since I last posted we've had Father's Day, a trip to SLC and Lots of fun in the sun. Here are a few of the fun pictures we've taken.
FATHERS DAY
Quinntin got a little different Father's Day this year we gave him all his toys and then left him alone to enjoy the weekend all by himself. (Don't worry he enjoyed the peace and quiet.)

Hoogle Zoo
While Daddy was at home relaxing we were playing with our Nana and our Aunt Leesa and her granddaughter Cambrie. We went to the Zoo and had a blast.

Rocking Out

This is just a fun picture of Kora and her love of music. She really wanted to listen to mom's IPOD and so we set it all up for her. I was amazed at how focused she was trying to sing to the Children's Playlist I have set up on my IPOD.

What I've been Doing While Pregnant

Most prego mothers have the nesting need to clean and organize. This pregnant mom has been crafty beyond reason. Since I found out I was pregnant these are the projects I've finished and are still working on.

Crocheting around a receiving blanket and I think a total of 4 burp rags so far . . .
Kora didn't want to be left out so she has new shoulder strap pads for her car seat and a really soft play blanket. . . .
I saw one of these car seat covers and thought I'd figure out if I could make one, I also made a Boppy cover for the new little one. . .

I finally finished piecing and quilting Kora's big girl blanket . . .

Parker asked me to make something out of this cute dinosaur material so he now has a place for all his toys in the car, especially since he will have to sit in the very back of the Explorer soon. The magnet board I found at the DI just waiting to be painted and put together, the kids helped me with the magnet gems too. Finally I made a nursing cover with this adorable remnant fabric I found at Walmart.

So that's it so far, it's a good thing my kids still take really good daytime naps and I have a really patient husband or else all this craftiness wouldn't have been possible.
