First Smiles

Kora has been gracing us with her beautiful smile since she was 2 months old. She loves to talk to mom and anyone else who will listen. I can't believe how much she interacts with her smiles and noises.

A Kid, A Blanket and a B

Parker has a "small" attachment to his fleece blanket and his "B" (binkie). They have started to be drug around all over the house and outside if mom doesn't stop him first.

A Little Cozy

So we found out the Kora can sleep almost anywhere here are just a few examples. . .

On her brothers fuzzy rug.

In her mothers arms, or hands.

In her car seat. ( Although she does not like getting in and she has to have her favorite things to be content.)

What Fun!! We thought we'd take Parker out for some Parker Time."

We went to the Children's Place at the Gateway Mall downtown. Parker could have spent hours playing in the "Hive" with all the balls and tubes.

Parker loved all the different holes the balls could go into. There was a play place that explore, water, farms, a home, a store etc. Parker had a lot of fun with all the kids running around, it was a little hard to keep track of him. Parker rode a life size horse, planted carrots and found a slide and put ball after ball into the never ending tubes.

Easter 08

Parker started Easter morning on his own by bringing to us, in bed, his first egg filled with a couple of M&M's he was enjoying. Parker helped his sister out by picking up all of his and her eggs and then sharing the empty eggs with her.

We had quite an eventful Easter with family in Salt Lake. We dyed eggs and our hands all sorts of beautiful colors, we ate a delicious meal of pulled pork sandwiched and Nana had a great hunt planned until I found that the garden is a very large place filled with dirt. Lets say the hunt hit a snag when his focus changed to the brown stuff.

At the Pearce Easter egg hunt Parker didn't quite figure out that the stuff you find on the ground at Easter is your to keep. He found it much more exciting to pick up, throw and find more. He was a blast to watch though. Kora just watched all cozy in her mom's arms.

Southern Utah Trip

We made our first trip with the updated family this past week. We took an early Easter vacation and made our way to family and friends in Parowan, Cedar City, St.George, Cannonville and Henrieville. The kids were surprisingly good travelers and we had an even nicer drive in our beautiful new Explorer. I can't say how nice it was to have more packing room.
Kora pretty much slept and ate and Parker did a little head banging to music to occupy his time. We got to see all of Quinntin's family in the area and spend some time in Zion's National Park. We didn't' get out much, it was a little too cold, but Parker loved the big rocks.

We stopped by the Reynolds' home so Parker could play with his cousins, and Parker found he had a new love, DIRT! Parker was red from top to bottom in St. George red rock dirt. He felt in his fingers, his hair and his, well, you know where.

We spent some time relaxing around the condo we got to stay in.

Some more than others.

It was a nice relaxing vacation, even with a two week old and an 18 month old for 4 days. I also got to spend my birthday money on clothes that fit my not pregnant body, it was fantastic!

T.V. and Toys

No better way to spend the morning but watching T.V. with your toys. (literally)
